Knit Love Into It

In high school I needed to come up with a Leadership Project for NHS. I learned how to knit and crochet a few months before my project was due. I named the project Knit Love Into It starting with one goal: to make 100 knitted/crochet hats by March 25 2011 for UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center patients. I was able to donate 121 hats and a $500 cashier check to the center. Overjoyed with all the support I received I decided to make Knit Love Into It a non-profit organization.

Knitting Gatherings

We are gathering to knit in public to spread the word about Knit Love Into It. All are welcomed and yarn will be provided for knitters. We also teach how to knit hats on looms to newcomers.
