In high school I needed to come up with a Leadership Project for NHS. I learned how to knit and crochet a few months before my project was due. I named the project Knit Love Into It starting with one goal: to make 100 knitted/crochet hats by March 25 2011 for UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center patients.
I was able to donate 121 hats and a $500 cashier check to the center. Overjoyed with all the support I received I decided to make Knit Love Into It a non-profit organization.

This is a picture of some of the hats the Fiberistas have knitted for Knit Love Into It.
We have knitted 170 hats and we already delivered 121 for the UM Sylvester Cancer center. We are now working on knitted children hats and toys for the Miami Children's Hospital. Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.
