Knit Love Into It

In high school I needed to come up with a Leadership Project for NHS. I learned how to knit and crochet a few months before my project was due. I named the project Knit Love Into It starting with one goal: to make 100 knitted/crochet hats by March 25 2011 for UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center patients. I was able to donate 121 hats and a $500 cashier check to the center. Overjoyed with all the support I received I decided to make Knit Love Into It a non-profit organization.

Knitting Gathering/Hat Delivery

All are welcomed to join us on this years last knitting gathering. It will be held at Liberty Caffe from 6-8pm on Wednesday December 19, 2012. If you do not know how to knit we will teach you on a loom. By the end of the night you can have a baby hat made! All the crafts made at this event are donated to medical patients.
